Cream and Cosmo: ALS colored by Ozz-the-Wanderer Cream and Cosmo: ALS colored by Ozz-the-Wanderer
See the Updated Version (sort of) here, [link]

Hello anyone who decided to look at this abomination unto all things art. Some of you may recall that I originally drew "Cream and Cosmo: A Light Snack." Well...this is the same thing but now I colored it (I'm innovative!).

Some things you might notice:

1) No Shading: I plan to write, not draw, for a living so whenever I draw something, it's because I'm bored and really wanna see a scene I thought of on physical paper in a lesser quality than what I can see in my head. Given that, I can't be bothered to do more than just the basics. The only real shading I have here is on Cosmo's legs. Yes, those are her legs and not just stubs from what used to be her legs...I added that little field of black to help create the illusion of depth...probably didn't work out that well.

2) The outlines might suck: I've drawn and colored pictures in the past but I've normally been content to just leave my pencil outlines in there and not make them any more noticeable except in a few cases. Now that I've seen what it's like to ink my drawings...I'll probably never do it again. That's hard work and it takes forever. I salute those of you who ink drawings. Despite what some people think, you do NOT just simply trace. And even if you did, it's hard work if you wanna do it right.

3) The background's terrible: In the black and white drawing, I noticed you can still see the images I erased whilst drawing this pic so I wanted to cut the background out and make a simple kitchen as the new backdrop (no real effort would have gone into it). However, my magnetic lasso tool proved to suck as it tried to cut off things that I wanted to keep so I just paint bucket filled as much as I could with white. After all the time and energy I spent just inking this picture, I couldn't be bothered to go another 9 yards for the background's sake.

4) The art quality itself sucks: ...That's because I suck (you can tell I'm serious because the "I" was caps-locked to give it emphasis). As I said in my first pic, you're more than welcome to re-draw what you see here if you think you can do better than me. Just let me know how it turns out.

Anything else you need to know about this pic can be found in my comment on the b&w version (do I smell product placement?) though I'll be more than happy to answer any questions, comments, etc you may have for this one.

One last time, I'd like to thank Canime, Green-Knight, and Limpurtikles for helping me with this pic, whether you knew you did or not.

Thanks for watching.

Actually, I don't think I had an ending fo this story; least of all one where Cosmo got out of this situation. Cream doesn't need any help finishing this meal. And even if Tails did find out, Cream's willing to add fox to the menu.

...Of course, Shadow and Cream teaming up for any other mayhem and violence is totally up or grabs, given the way I write her.

Thanks for the comment!

Even if people hate her, I love Cream and that's something nobody can change! She's my favorite sonic girl in Sonic X and Sega. She's cute, beats up robots with her own feet and cheese her chao, she has perfect gloves for an 8 year old, and she is the perfect kid for sonic!

Hey, we all gotta eat. Cream can't help it if her food happens to have a face. If anything, Cosmo's at fault for hanging around something that would likely eat her. Advanced alien race? Yeah right!

Thank you for commenting as always!

Besides, everyone will probably take Cream's side once she throws on her innocent girl act. Hard to be mad at someone who can cry on cue.

Sorry for the late response.

That's true. I used to wonder why Tails would hang around animals he'd normally eat. Either he knows he wouldn't get away with it, or he's biding his time until he's fully grown. Surely, he'd be unstoppable then.

By the by, if you wanna see plants behaving abnormally, check this out [link] .

Speaking of eating things, what are the chili dogs in sonic's world made out of? And do hedgehogs eat meat?

And... Interesting story, ozz.

Coolio. Old conversations are like a time capsule: they open your eyes to a time that your spelling and grammar were worse and show you just how stupid you used to be. Man, looking back sucks.

Another good question. I can understand Tails eating the chili dogs, but herbivores? Then again, my iguana tries to eat anything he can get his mouth around. I guess animals aren't as strict with their eating habits as we want them to be and Sonic, ever the rebel, likes raising a giant middle finger to our sense of logic every time he eats. What a jerk.

Heh heh...Thanks. Not my best work. Not even one I tried that hard on, but I really wanted to have Cosmo talk like a valley girl and I couldn't think of anything else to explain the other picture.

Heh heh heh...As Sonic and Shadow destroy Dark Oak once and for all, Cream decides to celebrate her own way. When Tails walks in later, he finds a bloated Cream and a note written by "Cosmo," saying how she's always hated him and ran away because he's so ugly.

Tails: Huh? This doesn't make any sense.

Cream (eyeing Tails up with a fork in her hand) : Hey, I got a itch in my mouth. Think you can scratch it for me?

I think you're actually the first anti-Cosmo user to comment on this pic...Strange that it's taken this long, actually. You might like this picture too: [link]

Weird, right? I like Tails but for some reason, I don't mind seeing him lose at...pretty much anything. From what I can gather of Cosmo-haters, a lot of them hate her simply for being with Tails. Some comment on how strange it is that a fox and a plant would get together and others had their hearts set on Tails and Cream (or sometimes a fancharacter they made up "before" "Sonic X" came out) so Cosmo coming along after the fact annoys them. Others still hate her for being a Mary-Sue or uninteresting character. I myself don't agree with any of these things (except the Mary-Sue part), so maybe I'm misreading something.

Hmmm...I'm not sure if you would like this pic or hate it: [link] . It even comes with a story! :D

I like that pic too lol! Poor Tails XD. Well my reason why I hate Cosmo is the mary-sue part. And a little bit for her being with Tails. Because honestly I think SEGA should've put her with Cream; Cosmo didn't really have much of a point. And I doubt they'll bring her back or put her in a game.

Thank you very much! Glad you like the picture! Sorry I didn’t respond sooner, mucho school work…o.

While I can't empathize with disliking someone over who they “date,” I can see why Cosmo would get annoying before long. It's not an argument for her, or even an excuse, but I think I like her because she was the first Mary-Sue I saw, so she was new and endearing to me, not whiney and cliche. But I do take issue with introducing someone just so that they can die. Every little scene has to revolve around them and everyone has to make a big deal out of when they finally die. It's been done to death (no pun intended) and the characters are normally flat outside of whatever emotional baggage they carry.

All things considered, I thought the Metarex were AWESOME and the way they tied in with Cosmo was great. It should have been elaborated on more, maybe try to rock a Darth Vader-Luke Skywalker deal or something, but it was still great in my book. Additionally, I think Cosmo has a personality that really complements Tails'. They both have confidence issues but want to do the right thing and have somewhat of an eye for science and introspective thought (or maybe that's just my vision of her). If Cosmo were handled like a character and not a 26-epsiode sad scene, I think Tails and Cosmo could have learned a lot from each other and really become something. She still never would have made it to the games but that's another issue.

One of the many flaws of the dying chracter: EVERYONE knows them to some degree and saw them do something important. There are no casual acquaintances, just friends or enemies turned friends.

I agree with you on someone not liking Cosmo. Amy could be jealous that she's doing so well with Tails whereas she can't get anywhere with Sonic, Cream might be jealous of her (admittedly, that'd probably just be for fanservice) or Knuckles might be too fixated on being violent and completely clashes with Cosmo's pacifistic ideals. However, Knuckles does seem to show no regard for Cosmo later on in the series, wanting to take the Metarex tracking device out of her brain even though he knew doing so would make her deaf and blind.

Awesome! Glad to hear you're back on the saddle! Drawing can be a tough pasttime but the more you work at it, the better it'll get. You start early enough, you could quite possibly go pro in the future and there isn't anything cooler than the entertainment industry.

Now that you mention Desfinity, that reminds me of the last comment I sent you. I didn't know you knew Desfinity so I mention them in a very vague fashion. Just ignore all the weirdness, it'll go by faster.

I love comments for the same reason you do. Without trying to brag, I like compare myself to Quinten Tarentino. In pretty much all of his movies, he goes on very long descriptions about movies, songs, etc that give you his opinion of what they're saying, what all the symbols and words mean. I LOVE to explain stories and analyze their details. When I see a good pic, I like to go into every detail about them. Similarly, I like it when I can get a good conversation going off of one of my own pics. I get an excuse to narrate my own thoughts and sometimes I even pick up a few things from my commenters. What we're doing here right now is what I live for on DA.

While I haven't been given any bad comments myself yet (my problem is that I don't have many at all), I have seen mean-spirited comments on other pictures that make me angry. There's disagreeing with a picture and then there's just being a jerk. Fortuntately, the artists who get said negative comments are typically quick to defend themselves so it's not like they're being victimized. Hopefully, you don't get too many upsetting comments...

The comments I really hate are the comments you see for fanart in which people will say how much they hate a character or story. The comments will have no bearing on the quality of the art or the uniqueness of the scene itself, just how much they hate what's depicted. Not only are they irrelevant to the picture, but they're normally mean-spirited and the commenters refuse to listen to counter-arguments.

THOSE are the ones that irk me to see.

This is not that bad, I do agree with you on what you have said, but I still think it was good to put this up here. I like the background story behind this, it is really entertaining, and I can not resist laughing at the fact Cream wants to eat Cosmo. It is just like some pictures I have seen with Tails trying to eat Cream, they are hilarious!

Also I will take up that little "Challenge" you left there, I will try to re-draw this picture, and when I am finished, I'll post it up on here, and I would like to see what you think. Though by re-draw, I just mean I'm going to draw my own version on paper, I have no coloring or computer programs to do that. My computer is a dinosaur with dial-up internet.

Hopefully I can have it up in a week. However, with Christmas near, I can not make promises.

Wow...I remember dial-up. Tell me, do all dial-up modems still make loud noises when you sign onto the Internet? I remember those sounds were the worst! I was afraid they'd wake up everyone in the house every time I signed in at night. Kudos to you for soldiering through with your terrible Internet connection. Hope someone throws a bone your way sometime soon.

I don't retract any of the negative things I said about this pic. I'm no pro and I'm not going to pretend to be. Thanks for sugar-coating your review though.

I'm not too familiar with "vore" artwork but "Tails Burger" and "Cosmo Salad" are were pictures in that category (I think) and were both hilariously cute pictures that were too good to ignore. The look on the victims' faces always does it for me.

I was originally going to have Tails and Cosmo on plates on a table with Cream getting ready to eat Cosmo on one end and Amy preparing for Tails on the other...I gave up on that after a while. I did, however, keep the "Salad" idea and Amy's posture from "Tails Burger." If my picture was a bit sharper and Cream's thighs not so freakishly huge, I think this would make a great pic. Can't wait to see what your version looks like...Can't believe you actually took the challenge! I didn't think anybody was ever going to act on it. Thanks for making things interesting for me. And don't worry about the coloring. As I said in a reply to you, I don't have the energy in me to go through another coloring process for a pic so when I do part two to your "Sonic and Blaze" pic, it'll be without inks or colors. Your lack of colors actually makes me feel better about mine as I don't feel like I'm ripping you off now. Thanks again.

And don't worry about when you do or don't draw the pic. Christmas is big and I probably won't be drawing on Christmas day myself. Take your time and have fun with it. It'll turn out better that way. Good luck with your rendition and I'll start ironing out the details for my pic to you soon.

Yes, Dial-up still makes those incredibly loud and obnoxious noises. Dial-up is the sword in my thigh (Or thorn in my side, however you like to word it) I do not think I'll be getting High speed until I move out from my home. With these tough economic times, I'm glad I still have internet at all. I'm so use to dial-up when ever I use a high speed computer at school I usually go "Wow! that was quick!" I sure would love to have a bone thrown my way.

For writing my reviews on art, I always try to do my best to find the positives of a picture. I know myself, I do not like getting negative reviews, or inconsiderate words said towards it. However I do not mind critiques, for they actually help me out. Which I could use all the help I can get.

I did a search on Cosmo Vore, though I did not get a lot of pictures, I'll try some more later. This category is new for me though, I just recently discovered it.

In regards to the remake I am creating, I have already started a prototype. I took about ten minutes to draw it, and it looks pretty okay to me. I have Cream in the same pose you had her in, but instead of having her hold Cosmo on a tray, I put a table in the background. On the table Cosmo is tied up, lying down, with a stuffed apple in her mouth and a shocked expression on her face. Then I have Cream say the ever so proper lines "Dinner is served." The way I drew Cream, she is in the same pose, though I am thinking of making her face more maniacal. I'm going to have to do a little experimentation with faces.

For the coloring of the picture, I do not have any colors in my house. I have to crayons, colored pencils, markers, or anything. Also I like making my art black and white. Not sure why, I suppose because I only need one pencil to do it. I'm looking forward to the second part of the Sonic and Blaze picture of mine.

Dang. Sorry to hear about your internet woes. At least you can still get on as you said. Better a slow, noisey connection than no connection at all. Here's hoping something good comes your way soon.

I too like to say mostly good things about pictures, movies, stories, etc. Having taken a public speaking class, I was taught to (and support) saying one good thing for every bad thing I have to say and trying to minimize how bad the bad things sound. But you've already said so many good things about my stuff that you could equate this picture to a pile of dung beetle excrement and the good would still outweigh the bad. Feel free to hate whatever you want from me. Are you trying to be a writer or artist (or both)? Depending on which one you're striving for, I can tailor whatever comments, etc I give you to help you in that direction.

"Vore" is still a vague field for me as well. There's only four pictures in the genre that I've seen more than once. I'll give you the direct links now.

"Cosmo Salad" by Green-Knight ([link])

"Tails Burger" by Canime ([link])

"Amy Roasts Tails" by Canime ([link])

"Amy Cooks Tails" by, you guessed it, Canime ([link])

Granted, only one of these pictures actually has Cosmo being eaten but the rest helped inspire me to make this pic. This is the only "Sonic" related vore I've looked at though, so I can't help you much further than this. Another negative note is that the artist comments are short and don't get into the heart of the pics. Canime, however, I think still operates here so leaving them a comment might actually get a response...I don't think I've tried myself though.

For your picture, I'm surprised to hear you already have a prototype...and that you have a prototype. I typically draw something once and say "Well, it looks like crap but it's good enough..." so hearing that you actually prepare for your drawings is amazing! At first, I was disappointed to hear that Cream wouldn't be holding Cosmo up (most pictures I draw/view have one character holding/carrying/etc another character) but when I heard how you had Cosmo tied up with an apple in her mouth and Cream being insane, I instantly changed my mind. It sounds awesome and, not to be redundant, I can't wait to see it! For this picture, I tried several times to get an apple or a crouton in Cosmo's mouth (since she's a salad, crouton seemed fitting) but it never looked right to me, hence the cloth gag. Hearing you cram an apple into her mouth makes me think this is going to be a great picture!

Black and white has its benefits. You can sometimes create more drama from the raw, subtle appearance of a lead drawing that hasn't been altered to any degree, ensuring you get the core expression of the picture and not a revised statement of its emotion. Whats more, colors can sometimes appear flat or otherwise unnatural thusly hurting the picture more than helping it. Black and white is fine with me. I've alread seen what you can do with black and white and I like it.

Unfortunately, I don't have a prototype or anything of the sort for your picture yet. I have an idea but, not having 24 hour access to my computer and the references it can give me, I don't want to start production yet for fear it will turn out poorly. Right now, I'm thinking of doing a two panel comic. In the first panel, Blaze is either pinning Sonic to a wall or pouncing him to the floor. He'll probably have scratches and a black eye while Blaze will have insane, pupil-less eyes, a fireball in one hand, and probably a second head coming out of her mouth like the aliens from "Aliens." Sonic's megaphone/ax will be seen imbedded in a wall elsewhere, the implication being that Sonic tried to fend her off with it but she easily threw it to the side. The second panel will have Sonic in casts while officers (or robots if I'm feeling lucky) from Animal Control haul Blaze away in a carry-on cage you see cats and dogs put into.

I looked through all of the pictures you have shown me and I have to say, they were quite good to look at, it has sparked a few ideas in my mind for my second draft of the picture. I am experimenting with different poses, but I do believe I have come up with a good idea. The main reason I did not draw Cream holding Cosmo is because I could not really get the proportions right. When I tried, Cream's arm just did not look right to me. With what I do believe the final may look like will be involving a table, I might have Cosmo cooked already, and I just had an idea to maybe have Tails serve it to Cream for a date, or maybe because he will be in fear of being next, I am not sure, I will be doing some experimentation a bit now, I'm getting excited about this.

Do I want to be a Writer or an Artist? Well, if you asked me a couple years of ago, I would have said exactly what I wanted to be, which was a computer animator for videogames, or an animator for T.V shows. Now that I am getting older, developing more skills, I also might want to be a Writer, because I have been told I have potential. A good example would be today in my history class, we had to write a Christmas carol using a historical person. I wrote mine in about five minutes, and it was about Toyotomi Hideyoshi, mand was to the tune of "Oh Christmas Tree" My history teacher said it was incredibly good. I enjoy writing, but I enjoying drawing too. Lately I have been doing things along comics, because that is pretty much both. If I had an absolute choice to pick right now, I would say I would want to be an Artist. However, I still want to work on my writing skills as much as I can, so I can write about my pictures to better explain them.

Your ideas for the second part to my picture sound awesome! I would love to see Blaze, with a second head coming out of her mouth. It sounds really cool and I can not wait to see it. Also the part with with Sonic in casts while Blaze goes to animal control sounds hilarious! Looking forward to see Blaze in a cat cage.

I literally laughed out loud when I heard you have Tails serving Cosmo to Cream! I'm not as big a fan of Tails and Cream as I am of Tails and Cosmo but the heated debate of Taismo vs Taiream gives the scenario an ingenious comedic touch whether you like Cosmo (like me) or not. All your reasons for Tails' actions sound great too. It could simply be that Tails likes Cream and not Cosmo, in which case the cruel twist of fate for Cosmo and the grim combination of cannibalism and a romantic/cute date dinner are comedic gold. If Tails is afraid that Cream will turn her fury on him if he doesn't obey her, it could tie into your Cream and Tails bully comic. Either option works and would be side-splitting to see! You've officially taken my excitement for this picture off the charts!

I'm glad you like my idea for part two of Blaze and Sonic. It actually reminded me of Cobra Commander from "G.I. Joe" and for a moment, I considered adding him to the pic but then I realized he'd be WAY too hard for me to draw so probably not. I have a few ideas other ideas though. Maybe we get a close-up of Blaze in her cage as she vow revenge. Or maybe as Blaze is hauled away, someone says, "Once she's put down, this'll all be a distant memory." Meanwhile, Silver opens up a pantry inside the house only to find a face-hugger, ready to lay Blaze eggs in his stomach! Let me know if any of this becomes too much. I can limit it to the first two panels...and probably will. I've never drawn Silver or face-huggers in my life.

I don't remember who Toyotomi Hideyoshi is...I wanna say he was the Emperor of Japan during WWII but I'm probably wrong. Still, the fact that you made a "Christmas Tree" version about him that your teacher liked, in a mere five minutes no less, sounds very impressive. If you ever upload it, I'd give it a read. I'd have to figure out who Toyotomi is first but I'd read it. I too prefer comic books as a medium. I can't draw but I love the blending of words and pictures. You get the class and psychology of a good writer and the action and drama of a good artist and you've got yourself a good read. I also have a profound love of the medium as its the birthplace of Spider-Man, Batman, the "Watchmen" characters, and almost all of my other favorite fictional characters. If you're striving for artwork and writing, I shall evaluate both of them when I see them. You definitely have potential in both fields. You could be the next Todd McFarlane, a big time writer who draws his own books...hopefully you don't become as jaded as him though.

About the reply I just sent you, for some odd reason, the idea I spoke of previously seemed to evacuate my mind. I just totally forgotten about having Tails serve Cosmo to Cream. I apologize for forgetting, and I think I might be making two drawings now. No, I have a better idea now. If I would take the idea of Tails serving Cream, I can actually put that into the bullying Comic! What I just thought of would be to draw all of that comic out, and at the end, Cream will defeat Cosmo, who attempts to defend Tails, and then forces Tails to serve Cosmo's cooked carcass to Cream! Sorry if that was a little sloppy of writing, I was just incredibly inspired. This would really add some effect toward the bully comic. In terms of whether I am a TailsxCream or TailsxCosmo, I would say TailsxCosmo because for one, I never imaged Tails and Cream getting together because of the way Cream was raised, plus, later in "A Comic 1" I show that I am a SonicxCream fan. For She and Sonic get married. Which obviously goes what Cream said on page ten, calling Sonic a petafile. I have not got the whole series up yet. I have thirty pages to go on the first Comic then I have about until 9/5/10 to put up A Comic 2. The reason I have a deadline is because the third one will be started by then.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi was one of Oda Nobunaga's generals during the age of great trading throughout the world. He completed hated all the Daiymo who were rouge and he sought to kill every one of them. He manages to unite Japan this way, and then proceeds to attempt to conquer China and Korea. However he dies before he can do so, and all of his troops pulled out at the notice of his death. I hope that explains enough, but history is my weakest subject and for some reason not everything sinks in. I just usually remember enough to keep an 'A' in the class.

Comic books are a great medium. I do not know too much about psychology though, I have not taken that class. I plan to take it next year, because it does seem to be a great class. My favorite comics I like to read though are probably the ones My friends and I make. I really enjoy making comics and also I do like how they are the birthplace of Batman and Spider-Man, my two favorite heroes. I do not know who Todd McFarlane is, what kind of books did he write?

So very sorry it took me so long to get back to you. The 24th, 25th, and, unexpectedly, the 26th were very busy. I had NO time whatsoever to get back to you. Hopefully you haven’t been bored waiting for me.

Daaang, Toyotomi was a sociopath. I remember Japan gave Asia the Nazi treatment during WWII. Was that when Toyotomi lived? I'm asking again because I think Yoshimitu’s profile in "Soul Calibur" mentioned Oda Nobunaga and that game was set during Europe's Middle Ages/Japan's Feudal Era, nowhere near WWII.

History was always my favorite subject seeing as how it's pretty much a story. But that's amazing that you can keep an 'A' average in a class that's more or less your weak spot. I remember I struggled A LOT with math as a kid and 'B' was more or less my gold medal there (always tried for 'A' but I'm a writer, not a mathematician). Speaking of classes, I guess I should explain what I mean by "psychology." I've been using the term rather loosely as of late. Normally when I say "psychology," I am referring to writers showing the inner workings of a character. Stuff like thought bubbles (though comics typically use captions instead of thought bubbles these days), etc. Though I do also refer to the actual study of behavior from time to time, such as a character's actions being dictated by their upbringing, the stuff affecting them at the time, the usual stuff. I took a psychology and a philosophy class. They were both good but to be honest...I can't remember a thing from them.

Todd MacFarlane is a comic book writer who used to work for Marvel before starting his own company, Image Comics. Although he left Marvel, apparently upset with its "Mickey Mouse" demeanor, he started and wrote a pretty good run on the series "Spider-Man" (the first book Spidey named simply "Spider-Man") and made perhaps his coolest villain: Venom (as seen in the third movie). At Image, a company still around today but largely playing third banana to Marvel and DC Comics, he created the character Spawn who I believe is still going strong today.

Now, to the Tails and Cream comic. It’s like you brought my subconscious to life! I would think things like what you just said but never know how to make them look good. Cosmo failing to defend Tails and then being served as food BY Tails TO Cream!? GENIUS! It’s cruel, brutal, it’s comedic (for Cream at least), it works on SO many levels! If you haven’t started work on this comic yet (and still want to), the only other request I have is that, before she’s cooked, that Cosmo too be punched in the stomach…Considering Cream is unnaturally cruel and was probably going to beat her up before putting her on a plate, I’m sure a gut-punch would be one of the tamer things she was going to do anyway. I can’t remember which conversation we were having in which you asked for a description of Demon Cream so I’ll send it to you in a note. Hopefully that’ll make it easier for you to find it and reference it.

Even if it is salad, doesn't eating an entire person still put a considerable amount of weight on you? Then again, the fact that Cream can hold Cosmo with one hand and think nothing of it suggests that one Cosmo's worth of weight is nothing at all. Besides, she'll probably burn all that "weight" off beating up Tails and doing other insidious things.

Glad you like it...never ate salad myself though. Especially not one with eyes and sentience. Rabbits eat the weirdest things. Thanks for the comment.
